Troubleshoot SwolfPy MCP
Resolve Python compatibility, Graphviz, project recovery, async-job, result-ID, and remote-access problems.
The scientific runtime will not install
Check Python first. The qualified full runtime uses Python 3.10 because SwolfPy 1.4.0 pins SciPy 1.8.0.
Graphviz errors appear
conda install graphvizInstall it in the same conda environment, then rerun the failing workflow.
Project creation was interrupted
If the project was created with an operation_key, inspect it with get_project_operation_status. Use recover_project_operation only when the recorded state is recoverable.
Monte Carlo or optimization exceeds the client timeout
Use the corresponding *_async tool, poll get_job_status, retrieve get_job_result, then dispose completed job state when it is no longer needed.
A stored result ID no longer works
Project, LCA, Monte Carlo, and optimization results have distinct identities. Confirm you are passing the correct ID type and that the stored result has not already been disposed.
