Install LCA Skills

Choose the package for your agent host and verify that it actually loads and runs.

Before you begin

  • Use the package built for the host you actually use.
  • Python 3.10 or newer is required only for the optional local CLI and adapters.
  • Do not upload the full source repository when the host expects a packaged skill.

Install the optional local runtime

Install a tool adapter only when the matching LCA software is available in a compatible environment.

Verify the installation

  1. Record the host name and version.
  2. Install or import the host-specific package.
  3. Confirm the skill appears in the host.
  4. Run one prompt that should activate it.
  5. Run one unrelated prompt that should not activate it.
  6. Record any filesystem, tool, or network permissions needed.

Package checks are not host checks

A ZIP can pass local structure validation and still fail to import, activate, or access tools in a specific host.
